Use this default search method to launch a keyword search. Enter the term or terms you want to search in the input box, use the drop down list to select the desired index and press the Search button. The default keywords index searches any word in the title, author, subject and series, etc., indexes plus the notes fields of the bibliographic records. You can also use the drop down list to select a specific index.
You can truncate search terms by using the asterisk (*) symbol. Truncation can be used at the beginning or the end of the word. There must be at least three letters before or after the asterisk for the truncation option to work. The asterisk can also be used to replace a letter in a word. Examples: milit*; *age; wom*n.
